In addition to reducing our consumption of raw materials, we are committed to working closely with environmental groups to raise awareness and amplify a message of sustainability in our community. Through these important partnerships, we are working to reduce our global carbon footprint, and helping to restore and support areas and communities impacted by deforestation.
In 2022, we will once again be working closely with environmental groups to re-plant and re-forest trees in Madagascar, supporting local communities and providing pathways to help future generations.
Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Plastic
We are currently transitioning our product packaging from 100 per cent virgin (new) plastic to a combination of virgin and PCR plastic (post-consumer recycled plastic). We are committed to increasing the percentage of PCR plastic used for our products over time.
This decision alone can have a significant effect on the way that we impact the environment. Not only does it result in a reduction of virgin plastic production and consumption, it also reduces landfill and eases our carbon footprint. Even better, bottles made with PCR plastic can be recycled again after use.
FSC Recycled Unit Cartons
Unit cartons for all our products are made from Forest Stewardship Council-certified (FSC) recycled paper. FSC recycled products are made from 100% recycled paper (either post-consumer or pre-consumer reclaimed materials), which helps to protect the world’s forests by reducing demand on sources of virgin material.
